Recently, the website www.sleepinginairports.net has ranked Noi Bai and Tan San Nhat airports amongst the worst airports in Asia in 2014. The Civial Aviation Administration of Vietnam (CAA) has officially commented that the survey result does not reflect the situation of Noi Bai and Tan San Nhat airports.
Vietnam’s aviation industry has made efforts to improve and enhance the quality of aviation services, including services at airports. The state management agencies and airport operators have implemented many effective solutions, such such investment in upgrading of infrastructure, equipment, technical facilities, service standards, improving awareness, attitude of airline staff. Service quality at airports and airfields have been seen with many positive changes..
However, to some extents, the management of CAA of Vietnam has been taking such survey result into consideration and continues to have solution to further improve the quality of service at Vietnam airports, including international airports of Noi Bai (Hanoi) and Tan Son Nhat (Ho Chi Minh City).
