U.S’s group researching to make investment at Chu Lai airport
On February 3rd 2013, according to Quang Nam People’s Committee, Mr. Le Thanh An, the U.S Consulate General in Ho Chi Minh City has committed to work with the Government and other relevant departments of the United States to promote and attract investment for the service maintenance center project for repairing and maintenance of aircraft at Chu Lai airport, simultaneously introduced and connected to ADC & HAS Group in the implementation of this project.
ADC & HAS Group has conducted an independent survey at Chu Lai airport, working with the Ministry of Transportation to study the possibility of investment.
Chu Lai airport has a total area of over 2,000 hectares, go into operation since January April 2005, supported by the U.S Trade and Development Agency (USTDA) with ODA of approximately 500,000 USD to study the planning, investment and development into an 4F international airport according to international standards of the International Civil Aviation Organization ICAO.
